Awards & Recognition

Ben Hall Law will be awarding a $5,000 scholarship to a student entering police academy in the Fall of 2024. This is to be used for tuition that is not otherwise covered by grants, scholarships, or sponsorships through an employer.

One is for those desiring to become a police officer. They must be accepted into the academy shown by proof of enrollment. They must show a history of devotion to public service. They must submit an application, resume, transcripts, and essay not to exceed 5-pages (double spaced) explaining how they will positively impact the image of law enforcement in today’s environment. One scholarship will be awarded each year. The scholarship will pay for up to $5,000 toward tuition that is not otherwise covered by grants, scholarships, or sponsorships through an employer. A letter from the financial aid office must be provided that indicates the amount of tuition, any credits applied on behalf of the student, and the remaining balance. Payment will be made directly to the school. Applications must be submitted by July 1st. The letter from financial aid may be submitted later due to the timing.

Essay:

This scholarship application requires that students write an essay explaining how they will positively impact the image of law enforcement in today’s environment. Essays should not exceed 5 pages(double spaced).

Award:

A letter from the financial aid office must be provided that indicates the amount of tuition, any credits applied on behalf of the student, and the remaining balance. Payment will be made directly to the school.

Deadline:

This year’s scholarship applications must be submitted by July 1st, 2024. Applications after this date will not be accepted.
